Now, this is very dependent on what path you choose; whether it's employed, self-employed or you chose an entrepreneurial path. Being self-employed your days can be incredibly long when you are first starting out. Early morning sessions, lunch sessions and evening sessions can cause a 14 hour day with plenty of wasted hours. As you grow and build your business you can segregate your hours more effectively. An employed personal trainer generally works shift work -- about 8 hours.
